| Lacks Current Information and Sound Scientific Evidence for Bias by J. Burnett 2 Stars October 17, 2009 This book is VERY biased and anti-vaccine, which is fine, but it doesn't help parents who want a balanced view of what is really going on today and what is actually in the vaccine that is injected into your child. Also a bit on the "fear-peddling" side as well with it's tiny true story excerpts of this or that child who DIED after getting this or that vaccine as if to say it's an imminent fact that your child too will die if you get the vaccine. These stories also seem taken out of context with very few details or facts linked to them to make them valid to the point. For instance one such story said the child died 10 weeks after getting the vaccine...seems a little fishy to me...that's 2.5 months later...can it for sure be linked to the vaccine at that time? Don't get me wrong, he's right in saying that vaccines carry with them numerous neuro-toxins that should rightfully concern any questioning, thinking parent; I just think that this particular source buys more into a culture of fear rather than a culture of science and fact. This book sites studies done so long ago that it's almost not even relevant with what is now known about vaccines, autism, mercury, etc. There just isn't enough current documentation and scientific studies mentioned in this book to make a useful guide for thoughtful parents. If you want to be scared into a reason not to vaccinate your child, by all means buy this book, but if you'd rather have scientific evidence that you can intelligently communicate to others who question your decisions, have concrete facts to share with them, and most importantly, make the VERY BEST decision you possibly can for your child's health and safety, I would go another route.
| | Great information by J. Bonnema-sabwa (Chicago, IL) 5 Stars September 04, 2009 The information in this book was very helpful. It did not try to scare you either way. It gave you the facts and let you choose which way to go.
| | The Good Old Days! by Anne e Nonomous (Boston, MA United States) 1 Stars May 27, 2009 Pseudo-scientific drivel. Live like the good old days - when half of children died before reaching adulthood. I'll put my faith in science, thank you.
| | Well Done book, Although a little rough on the edges by Author of Healing Our Children & Cure Tooth Decay (San Jose, CA) 5 Stars December 25, 2008 Overall this is an excellent book for parents who want reassurance on their smart choice to NOT VACCINATE their children. I didn't like that some of the writing was mushy and it didn't seem like we where going anywhere. Neustaedter is clearly opposed to vaccination, but then seems to have some fascination in the states power to try to enforce vaccines. He flip flops on many different points, and includes some inaccurate statements like Tetanus vaccine works (please, it doesn't work).
Despite it's shortcoming's there are key sections on why vaccines don't work, the dangerous aluminum, and mercury additives, information on how studies regarding vaccines not working are hidden away, and information on legal consent for your state. Overall, it's a well done book. Vaccines are deadly poisons, and kill hundreds of children every year, as well as debilitate thousands more. They also just plain don't work, and this book will reaffirm your choice to avoid the deadly plague of vaccines.
Review is by Ramiel Nagel author of Healing Our Children: Because Your New Baby Matters! Sacred Wisdom for Preconception, Pregnancy, Birth and Parenting (ages 0-6) & Cure Tooth Decay: Heal and Prevent Cavities with Nutrition (First Edition).
| | Great by Zen Mommy (On the road to world-peace) 5 Stars May 28, 2008 I cannot recommend this book enough. Very well researched and written. Dr. Neustaedter is a true advocate for children.
