Product Description
This is the basic text of the Narcotics Anonymous fellowship. Just as with alcoholism, there is no 'cure' for narcotic addiction, but recovery is possible through a program adapted from the "Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions" of Alcoholics Anonymous. This book, written by addicts, for addicts, about addicts, sets forth the spiritual principles of Narcotics Anonymous that hundreds of thousands of addicts have used in recovery. Intended as a complete textbook for every addict seeking recovery, "Narcotics Anonymous" describes the N.A. program and how it works. It includes the "N.A. Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions", as well as many personal stories of men and women who have found freedom from addiction through Narcotics Anonymous.

Beware of being miss lead!! by Dissapointed (Pennsylvania) 1 Stars

What you will receive is not what is pictured. Seller is misleading and should change the picture. The picture is what lead me to the purchase, my mistake was not reading the reviews. This is an important purchase I was giving to my son who is in recovery and wanted to give him more than a paperback. Very disappointed!!

Those who expected to see this beautiful limited edition of the newest NA basic text obviously hoped it would match the photo. The text shown is a SPECIAL EDITION and will go on sale after APRIL 1, 2009. There are only a limited number and they are a special edition to celebrate the anniversary of the text. The information in this book is the same as the new sixth edition of the text. Hope you folks cracked the spine before giving up on this life-saving book. To buy the special edition, go to the NA World Service Office website. (You can see my full review of this text online at the main Amazon store website)
