I have several CDs for relaxing by Steven Halpern and others, and just about all of them do what they're supposed to- help me relax, unwind, and get rid of stress. On all of the CDs there are selections that I like better or that relax me better than others, but none of them is grating or irritating. They're great at home or on the commute to work, especially if there's a lot of traffic.
Is this CD any better or worse than any other one? No, not as far as I'm concerned. I like playing all of them, and normally don't play the same one twice in a row (I prefer variety). You won't be sorry if you buy this CD- even the price isn't stressful!

I have many of Steven Halpern's CD's but I especially love this one.
I work with essential oils and when I am creating a blend, this music opens my heart and my mind to possibilities. The outside world fades away for a
while and my heart opens and expands as I absorb this lovely music.
It's definitely my "go to" CD when I need to let go and touch my truest self.

Or, rather than dating oneself to an archaic time long-ago, Halpern's Disc 1 alone, "Music For Healing Mind, Body & Spirit" delivered what it actually promised?! I've had this Audio CD for a very long time; but things happen like one forgets that perhaps 2 year ago, this CD helped to heal an agonizing back problem. Recently, I was desperately searching among my books and CDs for solace. Low and behold, I found it again...this Audio CD. Without going into the boring and misery-related details, I allowed myself the much needed space to be abolutely undisturbed by anyone or anything. And instead of trying to get well, think positively (negatively) or any other way, I just relaxed and listened. Right. Two years later, and this incredible CD did it again - I began to feel virtually free of the pain. So, my recommendation is this: if you have spent approximately $20 or alot more to deal with a chronic problem of mind, body or spirit - why not try something that really works without any side-effects whatsoever except "healing." Obviously, no one can say this will work for everyone, but I cannot recall a time (when I remembered to listen...) that it did not work for me. Not a "miracle" in a bottle or jar...it's on this CD.

Neither my husband nor I is particularly into the New Wave groove, but Steven Halpern's CDs have us asleep in about a minute. I originally bought this CD and some of Halpern's others to help my six year-old get to sleep without so much tossing and turning; now the CDs can be found next to his bed and ours. I highly recommend this CD and his others if you want to relax or need help falling asleep.
