this book is simple. you are not overwhelmed with information but the info it gives is interesting to all different types of people because it shows star sign, magical properties, healing properties, history and some basic facts.
so if your in to healing or the facts its both there. im really happy with it. i bought one for a friend and show my book to lots of people who also seem to think its a pretty good book.

I really ADORE this book! I know, I know. You hear that ALL the time. However I have read and looked through literally hundreds of books on Crystals and Gemstones in the last 20 years or so. I would HAVE to put this in the top 5 of ALL time. It is concise and complete with beautiful color photo's and interesting lore. The style of writing is very free and flowing. The reader instantly knows that the author LOVES her subject. This is an excellent book for those just starting out in this area or for the more advanced. I HAVE to say it..THIS IS A GEM OF A BOOK!

This is a most informative book--sometimes the info contradicts things in other crystal books, but since the usage of crystals is subjective, that's to be expected. It is the first source I turn to when I want to learn about a new stone. I have bought at least 5 copies for friends who are interested in the subject.
