| The Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy Survival Guide by William R. Lund (Colorado Springs, CO) 5 Stars April 13, 2009 Extremely well written and informative. My wife is a retired oncology nurse and she learned things from it. I found it very interesting and easy to understand.

| | Great Book! by annieb (New Jersey, USA) 5 Stars April 15, 2008 This was a great book. It provided details about what to expect, and offered solutions. It even covered the emotional aspects of dealing with treatments, for both patients and caregivers.
| | Basic and useful by R. Elliott (Washington state) 4 Stars October 27, 2007 There is so much conflicting information out there but this book is helpful and nonjudgmental. In other words they are not guilt tripping you about how you brought this illness on yourself. Nor do they advise you to start eating juiced spinach when you can hardly handle pudding. They tell you what to expect with the chemo and ways to deal with various problems. A great resource book.
| | Getting Through It by Doris E. Bryant 5 Stars October 17, 2007 This was my Bible during chemotherapy. It answered all my questions, cleared up my misconceptions, and overall let me view my treatment as a positive, healing process. I ordered a new copy to donate to my local breast cancer group.
| | Must-have by Karen Kimmerly (Williamsburg, OH) 5 Stars April 23, 2006 Since my diagnosis three weeks ago I have checked out and read every book on chemo and radiation in my county's library system. This is by far the best - it's the only one I decided to go out and purchase so I could keep it around for reference. The advice is very down to earth and practical. The authors' knowledge and practical experience is evident on each page. The diagnosis of cancer sent me into an information seeking frenzy - I'm glad that I found this one right away as it de-mystified a lot of things for me. Read this one first!
