Wetherell (San Diego, CA United States) 5 Stars September 06, 2003 This is the best treatment manual I've seen for Generalized Anxiety Disorder. It presents a scientifically sound cognitive-behavioral therapy protocol in user-friendly language. Individuals with GAD can either work through it on their own or with a therapist. The Therapist Manual is excellent, too; I highly recommend both.
| | Garbage 1 Stars April 09, 2002 This book was absolutely terrible. I purchased it with high hopes, but instead I threw it away. I couldn't have the heart to sell it used to someone else, because one person should only get burned buying this book.
