Tearnan, Ph.D. presents 10 Simple Solutions to Chronic Pain: How To Stop Pain from Controlling Your Life, a straightforward guide to the most effective pain management techniques. 10 Simple Solutions to Chronic Pain does not deny the value or unilaterally condemn the use of painkiller drugs, but rather teaches the reader alternative methods that can be used in conjunction with medication, or by themselves. Chapters discuss better ways to communicate with doctors and learn which treatment options are most likely to prove beneficial, enhancing emotional well-being, improving one's sleep, the option of biomedical treatments, changing one's nonproductive beliefs about pain through personal experimentation, and much more.
