And that's why it's never too soon to teach little ones about germs and ways to stay clean and healthy. This book is a short course for kids on what germs are, what they do, and why it's so important to cover them up, block them from spreading, and wash them down the drain. Simple words complement warm, inviting, full-color illustrations that show real-life situations kids can relate to. A special section for adults includes ideas for discussion and activities. |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 3 reviews)
| Germs Are Not for Sharing by A. L. Fraser (Basel, Switzerland) 4 Stars June 06, 2009 The book is good, though for my sons (ages 7 and 5), I had wished there would be a little more explanation of the science or a pictorial showing of exactly how germs are spread. Instead, it's more of a "be clean because of germs" superficial lesson. The book is good-- I had just hoped for a bit more.
| | Great idea! by Christine Clearview (El Paso, TX) 5 Stars November 07, 2007 My daughter loves this book. After reading this to her a few times, she wanted me to wash her hands when they were dirty right away.
| | Great book about germs! by J.A.C.K. (CA) 5 Stars January 05, 2007 Little kids don't understand the concept of germs so this book helps explain why we need to wash our hands!
