CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 12 reviews)
| Herbal Antibiotics- Unique, well written, excellent information by Gwen Mcclellan (Hadley, MA) 5 Stars September 22, 2009 This is an exceptional book that, yes, is not for beginners. That said, it does an extraordinary job of explaining the complex intricacy of microbial existence and function. It provides a list of favored, at times unusual antibiotic herbs, and explicit information regarding the realm each covers. From this book, one can study and glean an essential understanding of how to build a home health chest of herbal antibiotics. As an herbalist, it has augmented my practice in an effective, broadening manner. Many people and animals experience allergy; I have observed that they often tolerate herbs from areas far from the homelands of their ancestors. For this reason, it is important to know a vast array of antibiotic plants that can be custom-considered for individual and situation. He presents several that work beautifully with unusual expertise in specific areas. We have created, and are heading into a time of great microbial problems and illnesses. The greatest challenge of any influenza is the secondary bacterial overgrowth that has the capacity to severely challenge our ability to stay alive. These plants are worthy of our attention and relationship.

| | new insight into bacteria, good info on certain herbs by Carolyn Dumond (San Francisco area) 5 Stars May 14, 2009 I have several books on herbs and vitamins. Altho this book is 9 years old, the information about how bacteria become resistant was a real shocker! The author has much more specific information regarding the major bacteria types, what illnesses they relate to, and which herbs and plants (and vegetables) will most directly attack that bacteria. In this age of worldwide pandemics, this stuff is good to know. Also, he does not advocate forgoing antibiotics....just using them more sparingly. Great resource book
| | Not for ameuturs by Katherine Diane 2 Stars May 08, 2009 This book is for the advanced herbalist. These plants are not in my back yard and some of them I have never heard of. I never use this book.
| | Herbal Antibiotics by Richard L. Stout 5 Stars January 17, 2009 This book has great information in a simplified form. The company that I ordered it from was very prompt in sending it out.
| | Fabulous! Must have! Recommend 100% by Carrie Aitken (Broomall, PA, USA) 5 Stars November 11, 2008 This product arrived overnight in brand new conditiion. It is a must have. Would recommend 100% without hesitation.
