| Diabetics Carbohydrates and Fat Gram Review by Mom B 5 Stars August 05, 2009 I think this is one of the most comprehensive books I have found that helps with every item people are interested in when tyring to count carbs, fiber, calories, fat and much more. It is laid out very nicely so you can find almost any item quickly. I have my own book and bought a second one for my daughter. I have several of these kind of books on my shelf but this is the one I use every time.
| | Good Diet Counter by Patti D (Marion, VA, US) 3 Stars May 07, 2009 This book has pretty much everything you need diet-wise, giving you calories, fat, sodium, exchanges, etc. It also included protein, which was something I needed to keep track of as a pre-weight loss surgery patient, so that was most helpful. I wish it covered a few more foods-it always seems like I need the information on the one thing that's not there.
But overall it's a solid guide.
| | Good book by Susan E. Mann 5 Stars February 15, 2009 This book was in good shape and less than half the price of the same book on the ADA website. I am very satisfied
| | No information on sugar amount. by Jess Latham (USA) 2 Stars November 18, 2008 There is no information on how much sugar is in anything in this book, it's lumped in with carbs but I want to count sugar specifically. Otherwise this would be an amazing book.
| | Wonderful aid to controlling diet by homermdler (NC) 5 Stars September 23, 2008 I purchased this book on the advice of a friend who has diabetes. It is great for making careful eating and food shopping choices. I highly recommend it. I can use it when making a shopping list or choosing meals out in a restaurant.
