A Clinical Pharmacist from Boston by Peter D. Anderson (Massachusetts) 5 Stars
March 28, 2000
Medication errors is a virtual encylcopedia on medication errors. This text provides a strong theoretical background and numerous practical tips for reducing medication errors. The book expands the definition of medication errors beyond the well-known "five rights" of medication administration. Medication errors also include a failure to detect drug interactions, too rapid rates of administration, and poor patient adherence to treatment instructions. I highly suggest this book for pharmacists, physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, risk managers, and pharmacy technicians.
