EDITORIAL REVIEWS

Product Description
Quantum Dots captures many diverse applications enabling utility in biological detection. Organized into five parts, the first two parts cover the use of QDs in imaging fixed and living cells (and tissues). Protocols are included for using QDs in routine (protein and structural cellular labeling), as well as enabling (single receptor trafficking, clinical pathology, correlative microscopy) applications. Part 3 shows early efforts aimed at using QDs in live animals. The final 2 parts demonstrate the versatility of QD technology in existing assay technology.

A good guide to qdots by I. Kovacs (San Diego, CA) 5 Stars
November 15, 2008
This book is a good guide to qdots. Dealing with all the basics, giving a good idea about this new segment of the science. I miss only one thing: double or multiple labeling techniques with streptavidin-conjugated qdots.

Principles of Fluorescence Spectroscopy
by Joseph R. Lakowicz (Author)

The third edition of the established classic text reference, Principles of Fluorescence Spectroscopy, will enhance upon the earlier editions' successes. Organized as a textbook for the learning student or the researcher needing to acquire the core competencies, Principles of Fluorescence Spectroscopy, 3e will maintain the emphasis on basics, while updating the examples to include recent results from the literature. The third edition also includes new chapters on single molecule detection,...
