EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description The pediatric population is a dynamic group, with major changes in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics taking place throughout infancy and childhood. Because of these vital changes, the need for the evaluation and establishment of medication dosing regimens in children of different ages is great. The Pediatric Dosage Handbook, 15th Edition, continues to be the trusted information resource for medical professionals managing pediatric patients. |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 11 reviews)
| Pediatric Dosage Handbook by C. Martin (Sacramento, CA) 3 Stars September 13, 2009 I needed this book as it is a required text for my pediatric clinical rotation in nursing school. Since it was a required text, I didn't compare it to other pediatric dosage guides. I'm not a big fan of the layout, etc. compared to my Davis Drug guide for adults. It seems harder to follow and a little less consistent with regard to where certain information on each individual drug can be found. Unless it is a required text, I would probably shop around for a better PEDs dosage guide.
| | Excellent Book by R. Corrales (Costa Rica) 5 Stars May 03, 2009 This book is one of the best options for every day pharmaceutic consulting.

| | Peds Dosage Handbook by Somkiat Sopontammarak (Sioux Falls,SD USA) 5 Stars April 06, 2009 So far, it is a good book for peds medications. It contains lots of information including CPR algorithms.
| | A must have! by Lucky Lin (Pleasanton, CA United States) 5 Stars March 16, 2009 I am a nursing student, and this book was indispensible for my pediatric rotation. It is easy to use, and my instructor said it can easily be used for the adult population as well. Now, I'll be loaning it to a friend who is starting her peds rotation!
| | Great resource! by ER NP (Omaha, NE) 4 Stars November 05, 2008 Is a great drug resource. Has everything you need to know and it easy to use. My only complaint is that there is no index by brand name and the drugs are listed by generic, so if you do not know the generic name you are kind of stuck. Contains adult doses as well, and includes other pediatric medicine resources.
