CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 1 review)

Most cited medical textbook on body image by B. Latham (Atlanta, Georgia) 5 Stars
June 27, 2008
This textbook has been cited hundreds of times in research articles related to a person's perceptions of his or her own body image, body image distortion, eating disorders, and obesity management. For example, on pp. 142-153 you will find a definitive article on measuring body image attitudes among adolescents and adults (by Thompson,JK and Van Den Berg,P). Even though textbooks seem out of print the moment they are published, this textbook is a classic and will soon become a well-worn and bookmarked text when added to the professional's bookshelf of handy references.
