I was pleased to open the box to find a sturdy chart--it was folded up, but still hangs in one continuous length without any gaps or overlapping pieces.
The colors are great--bold for kids, but natural and not obnoxious. The art work is cute, but not cutesy.
It is perfect for our transracial family. There are kids that look like my Caucasian son and kids that look like my African American daughter. I loved it so much I got it as a "welcome baby" gift for good friends of ours who already have two kids, so there was a little something for everyone.
My son really likes the stickers that come for labeling each child's name, date he was measured, and his height, and the extra stickers for decorating the chart--he put a kitty on a tree branch last. He also likes the 2"x2" picture slots for easy updating of pictures and drawings.
GREAT VALUE! This one seems to be much nicer than those that are 2-4 times as costly.

I debated for several months on whether or not to purchase this growth chart. Last week I finally did and WOW! I LOVE it! The illustrations are adorable, it folds up neatly into a cute little book to be treasured and is DURABLE. I'm so glad I purchased it and my son loves it.

A cute product and a good idea. My "minus 2 stars" objection is that each "inch" is about 1/64th short of a true inch. Ergo, you end up about a half-inch off at the top of the chart if you hang the bottom at it's proper height.
I don't think most people would care about this flaw... but now you know.
