Bill Henderson's recommended regimen tracks with the knowledge for which Otto Warburg, a famous German doctor and researcher, won a Nobel Prize in 1931. He described the cancer cell and stressed the need to reverse the above four characteristics of the cancer in order to heal it. Bill's mission to help cancer patients heal started with his experience with his former wife, Marjorie. Her ovarian cancer was treated with conventional cancer treatment from 1990 to 1994, when she died. Bill is convinced that the treatment killed her. He wants to help as many people as possible avoid her fate.

I had stage 3 colon cancer at age 32. Needless to say I was a little frightened. I had surgery and chemo and a friend's parents sent me this book just as I started chemo. I was young and strong so I continued the chemo, but I started all of Bill's recommended 'life changes' while still doing chemo. After chemo (and cancer free-ness) I've kept up with everything on a preventative level and I'm 2+ yrs out and still cancer free (knocks wood). I really liked this book- it's written so anyone can understand how and why cancer occurs and how they can live a healthier lifestyle to counter act it. I am really happy I was given it and I plan to continue the things I've learned in it forever. We as Americans consume such processed junk and it's time we all take better care of our bodies.

The book arrived in good time, but unfortunately it was not the book I had ordered, which was disappointing since I wanted to send it to a friend who is looking for this kind of cancer treatment. It wasn't totally the fault of the seller--the cover was right, but inside the cover was a completely different (and useless to me) book. The seller asked me to return the book (which I did) so they could see what I was talking about, but I never heard from them again...

This is one of two books that I am reading on nutrition as a way to beat cancer. I love the book as it is written in layman terms and not filled with the technical jargons. This book is a must read and have a a reference library for two reasons: 1) if you have a love one who is diagnosed with cancer and is going to have TR or chemo, I strongly recommend this book as a way to support their immune and body through the treatment; otherwise, complications happen, like pneumonia, which many supplements will help to boost the immune system; 2) teaches you that even if you are healthy, you need to change your diet NOW. I found the book very supportive and informing us that cancer can be treated, and I believe that as we are facing a cancer situation in the family, and despite the negativity of the doctors on the stage IV glioma, we have seen such improvements and that this affected person, it taking the treatment so much better than before. it is a must read book and you will learn so much more on how your body can support you that you ever thought. We have learnt not to give our power away to the doctors and have taken it back by focusing on the nutrition to heal; the treatment is just to 'debulk' the cancer cells, and we are using the nutrition to allow the body to fight the cancer cells. Love this book and will be buying more copies for family and friends. A little pricy, but it is worth it.

The title of this book looked so promising. However, it reads like the typical ad for homeopathic supplements and presents a bleak outlook for those who have already had traditional medical treatment.
