EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description This book clears the confusion about the Government of 12 model. Joel has dug deeply into ICM and other G-12 churches to learn the principles behind the model. This book contrasts G-12 with the classic 5x5 structure and shows how to implement this model of ministry. It also discussed the weaknesses of the model, which are not found in ICM's resources. Excellent reading! |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 3.0 based on 2 reviews)
| Watch out for this one! 1 Stars March 05, 2000 This books gives you a great game-plan to grow a church. Unfortunately, this system has some problems. The primary problem is that there is such a focus on church growth that individual people are left behind. If you're not growing the church, you become part of the problem. The system leaves room for a cultish following of a charismatic leader rather than focusing on individual interpretation of scripture. This system can make you forget too easily that there are some things that are more important than church growth.
