Product Description
Increasing awareness of the therapeutic properties of marijuana — to ease muscle tension, relieve pain, promote appetite, and induce overall relaxation — has generated widespread interest in its use as a medicine. Without question, the best and safest medicinal application of marijuana is through ingestion. In Marijuana Cooking: Good Medicine Made Easy, authors Bliss Cameron and Veronica Green guide would-be chefs through the process of making their own tasty and healthy home remedies using marijuana as the main ingredient. Five different methods of preparing pot for use in the kitchen are provided with step-by-step instructions, as well as advice on personalizing dosage and substituting ingredients to account for different tastes and medical conditions. The recipes include Bliss Balls, Butterscotch Blondies, Honey Chocolate Brownies, Honey Whole Wheat Banana Bread, and Honey Pumpkin Bread. Lush, high-quality photographs of actual marijuana dishes grace nearly every page, making the book a delight for the eyes as well as the body.

This book is a perfect kick off to cooking with marijuana. IT explains how to make oil, butter, or tinctures to get your medicine ingested without smoking. There are only a few cooking recipes, but with this book you can use the oil and butter in almost any recipe. I've had lots of success with the chocolates, brownies, and even cake made from the box. I highly reccomend this book if you want to cook with weed.

This book was everything I had hoped it would be: easy to follow directions--with photographs, just the right amount of clear and concise additional information without being overwhelming, and very reasonably priced. The book was used, but the quality was the same as new.

Missing Ingredients  by E. Ray (San Diego, CA) 3 Stars

Oil and Butter making recipes are great. However, when it comes to the recipes the author leaves out ingredients. Lets just say I was upset on more than one occasion by these recipes. There are better books out there.

Often, parts of the marijuana plant such as leaf or trim are discarded because they are lower in THC content and unappetizing to smoke. The second title in the Ask Ed series, Marijuana Gold: Trash to Stash shows how to rescue these unused parts of the plant by processing them to increase concentration, or by using alternate methods of consumption to rescue them from inadvertent waste. With photographs, illustrations and his usual expertise, Ed Rosenthal tells you how to get the most mileage...
