Apart from the content of the book that I personally find very helpful, the book is very reader friendly which fisrt of all meand professional layout design and font selection. You never get tired reading the book just because it is well composed from the structural and typographic points of view.
And of course the book covers a lot of topics that may interest people who make their first steps in growing: economy, safety, growing itsel etc. May be for some real botany experts there could be information gaps in this book but I find this book a great helping hand.

A few color photos in the middle of some plants, buds and a few setups. Not really instructional (the color pics) but nice. The book has plenty of information and I enjoyed reading it. It has decent drawings of the different grow setups and information about nutrients, lights and security. Not my favorite by itself but its part of a collection of grow books that I have and it gave me enough information for me to feel good about buying it.

If you are looking for sound information about growing marijuana, look elsewhere! I find the information in this book half baked at best, and down right dangerous at worse. Take the authors advise for "tons of skunk." This section ought to be labeled "tons of time in Federal prison". "To get a ton of skunk, grow 2000 one pound plants...and get yourself 10 to 20 in a federal joint. Been there done that no thanks...the rest of the book is a hodge podge of fuzz logic and bad editing. Buy Marijuana Botany and you will receive a real grow book, this is toilet paper at best.

This book covers everything from selecting seeds, The compost you should use. And how not to get busted by the police. I find it rediculous that booze is legal. (Yet it will hurt you more) And pot is not. Booze makes people do crazy things and get in trouble. Grass on the other hand relaxes people and is less damaging to the body. (I think the wrong thing is legal) Also, Its great for stress and stress related illnesses. If you want to learn more its all in this book.
