EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description Fruit Fly, a light-hearted fictional love story centers around the life and eccentricities of Kate Kendall, a woman in her late forties, and her best friend Alex Renault, a gay man in his thirties. The college town of Northampton, Massachusetts comes to life with its unique setting and colorful array of characters. Kate’s previous history with men has left her untrusting and paranoid of heterosexual relationships until she meets a visiting architect who, against his better judgement, finds himself fascinated with Kate and her friends. Meanwhile, Alex’s flirtatious teasing with a handsome construction worker blossoms into true love. |

| shopworn by Bennie Dee (Florida) 1 Stars February 07, 2006 "Although I detected a feeble attempt at humor while reading Fruit Fly,
I felt pity for Ms. Tucker. She is obviously trying to mask her fear in
this "lighthearted novel". This topic is even too shopworn for Dr. Phil,
so I recommend an enrollment in "Creative Writing I" at the local
community college.""
| | Easy Read? by Lennie (Burlington, VT) 1 Stars February 07, 2006 This might be considered an easy read for those who can overlook redundant, boring descriptions, no plot and not one interesting character. Ms. Tucker might consider an alternative medium for venting her frustration. Writing is not her forte.
Who allows these books to get published anyway!
| | Fantastic by Larry99000 (Saugus, CA) 3 Stars December 28, 2005 Loved every page. I really wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy Fruit Fly, but it certainly exceeded my expectations. The story was able to take me into a different world, one of which I've had very little exposure to. Thoroughly enjoyable!
| | What a delight by Susan J (Tuscon, AZ) 4 Stars December 28, 2005 What a delight it was to read this breezy, fun book! I'd recommend it to anyone.
| | EXCELLENT by Crystal Bell (Richmond, VA) 5 Stars September 30, 2004 I find it hard for some books to keep my interest. However, this one did. It was very pleasurable and easy to read. I just couldn't put the book down. It made me feel like I was right there sharing the emotions of all the characters and was part of it. I highly recommend it.
