EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description This book illustrates, in a succinct question and answer format, a variety of different scenarios of rheumatic disease. In its discussion of common and uncommon cases, the book presents the seasoned experiences of a leading rheumatologist. These questions and cases are easily translated into everyday practice and might well be presented during ward rounds, in clinic, or during boards. The book is an excellent resource for postgraduate fellows, internists and students who are eager to learn more about rheumatology, test their fund of knowledge, or prepare for board examinations. |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.0 based on 1 review)
| Good but Short by A. Mandelin 4 Stars September 13, 2009 A well-done book, but a bit short. Explanations are brief, and the reader will of course need to go to other sources for more detail. Would make a decent adjunct study guide, but is not intended to be even close to comprehensive. If you are looking for a board-review or shelf-exam-review item, the title of this book promises far too much. Overall, feels more like a collection of one clinician's "interesting cases I have seen that contained good teaching points."
