The MammoTrainer is a self-training software for PC that allows you to improve and test your skills in soft-copy reading of mammograms. It is built on a database of 250 real screening cases (200 normal cases, 50 histologically proven cancers) with 2,000 mammograms from the Dutch national breast cancer screening program. Specify a set of training cases, read them with typical soft-copy tools (e.g. contrast/brightness, zoom, CAD), localize and classify lesions, and compare your findings with the confirmed pathological diagnosis. Based on a wealth of mammographic cases, each with current and prior images, the MammoTrainer is a useful assistant for training and preparation both in diagnostic and screening mammography. |
