EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description This book prepares students and technologists for registry examinations in nuclear medicine technology by providing practice questions and answers with detailed explanations, as well as a mock registry exam. The questions are designed to test the basic knowledge required of nuclear medicine technologists, as well as the practical application of that knowledge. The topics covered closely follow the content specifications for the exam given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and the components of preparedness published by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. This third edition includes a new chapter on positron emission tomography. |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 3.5 based on 3 reviews)
| Good Book for Technologist by Kristi L. Helton 4 Stars September 13, 2009 Covers all areas that are in the Boards and PET. I had already had school when I decided 3 years later to take the ARRT. So with school and this book and a few notes I had kept, I did well on the exam. There didn't seem like there were any others to choose from that I could find. There are a few questions and answers that are wrong, but for the most part a good book!!
| | Very basic by Phil (Arlington, TX) 2 Stars January 25, 2008 This review book is very basic. As stated in the title, this is for technologists. If you're taking ABNM exam, this is totally useless and inadequate.
| | it's good for specific areas of improvement by Samuel Greinke (berkeley, california) 4 Stars April 14, 2007 i used this book for my boards.
it's pretty good for reviewing and polishing skills is specific areas. it's broken up into subjects, do if one has the desire to do twenty questions on QC/QA or renals it's all here.

This short book was written primarily for senior medical students rotating through nuclear medicine, residents-in-training, and fellows, in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology, who are studying for exams and tests. It may also be useful for those physicians who have completed their training, but would like a cursory review of testable subject matter. This book is not a substitute for any textbook, nor is it a complete review of nuclear medicine. It should be used in conjunction with...
