Not a good book for bee enthusiasts by M (Gnawing away at your reality) 1 Stars

While bee diseases are a serious issue especially to beekeepers, this is not a good book for information. Everything comes from Wikipedia, though they won't tell you on their Amazon page! Emails to the publisher also go unanswered, and a woman I know bought one of their books (about Egypt) only to find out that it was all Wikipedia articles. Fortunately she got her money back, but I'm sad that Amazon lets these books be published in the first place. I'm not a beekeeper, but I think bees are the bee's knees! :) I've come fairly close to bees before and been stung a couple of times, but I sure do love honey and am grateful to beekeepers for their hard work. There are far better resources out there to learn about bees and the diseases and parasites that afflict them, whether for beekeepers or entomologists or just people curious about bees. Whatever you do, do not get this book, or any other books by this "publisher".
