Although it has existing security systems, they had not been adequate to prevent the abduction of an infant late one night. The abductor was able to enter a room and take a baby when the mother fell asleep. Fortunately, the hospital has a CCTV system which was able to capture the abductor leaving with the baby. For additional security, the hospital has installed new cameras in the nursery and other vulnerable areas. It has also devised additional procedures for visits.Citation DetailsTitle: Returning mirth to birth.
