Kidney Friendly Comfort Foods by Peter A. Leone 1 Stars

The author should stick to his primary profession. He is not a medical professional and moreover doesn't have a background in nutrition or renal disease. He is only guided by the suffering and affliction of some close friend. The recipes are quite similar to regular recipes you can download from the web. There are no substitutions like Splenda for sugar, Dash for sodium, egg substitutes for real eggs, and other nondairy product sustitutions, reduced phosphorus baking soda for baking soda, etc. Some of the meat dishes run up to 30 g of Protien per serving. I am not an expert but I have been told by my doctor that this will do a job on your liver.Take this book with a grain of salt (pun intended).

This book is available for FREE on the Fosrenol website. It is a good book, but why in the world would anyone pay extra to get it?
