#1 Pocket Radio by John McClure (Edmond, OK) 5 Stars

Completely satisfied. Well worth the 50-bucks!! I use it a lot when walking. Great reception (both AM abnd FM). They didn't forget anything. Love the digital display......... easy to tune. Plenty of memory channels. Comes with all the accessories you need (extra antenna wire, great ear buds, belt clip, great users manual). A super trade-off when you're tired of the ipod.

I purchased this little radio five months ago. Have used maybe eight times. All the good features mean nothing because the On-Off button is failing, as reported by others, rendering the radio useless. Expensive mistake on my part!

love this radio by Ruth Peterson (Somerville, MA) 5 Stars

My boyfriend needs noise (sports radio complete with its loud commercials) in order to sleep, but I can't deal with it. This radio solved the problem. He turns it on, slips it under his pillow and like magic, he can hear it and I can't. The signal is great, just as it is on my other two Sangean radios, and the battery doesn't die quickly like it did with my last handheld radio. As a plus, it shuts itself off after about half an hour. Love it! Worth the price, for sure.

Works well but overpriced by Nicholas Perkins (Minneapolis, MN) 4 Stars

Pros: -Good features -Sounds quality is nice -Buttons seem well thought Cons: -Seems more expensive than it's worth, even at sale price -Battery indicator basically useless -Stock headphones are terrible -Memory dependent on constant power Conclusion: In general this radio is pretty good and I use it every day indoors at work and it handles well. The real problem with the radio is that for its price one kind of expects a better and perhaps smaller product. What I don't understand is that a product that lists its normal price as $99.50 (though its been half-off for almost a year now) somehow doesn't have a memory that can be saved without batteries. In the age of something like the ipod shuffle this thing seems unreasonable. Well, this seems to be how pocket radios are, and this one is definitely pretty good compared to something like a RadioShack brand.

I recieved this radio a few days ago and at first thought it was worth the price. If you try to raise the sound any higher than half volume it starts to sound scratchy. You have to move the radio around a bit to get a good reception, and the anntenna is annoying just hanging their like a piece of loose string on a shirt. I accidently dropped the radio from a hight of 2 feet, then I had to say "Goodbye to my $50 investment. Piece of junk. It should be able to withstand a drop test of about 3 feet, at least. Save your money folks.
