Can you say "junk?" You will be able to, if you buy this thing. It arrived with one battery (it requires two). It was so poorly packaged, the one battery ended up being just loose in the box. Oh, and it didn't work.
Ignore the packaging shown in the picture, because what you'll get is a clear "ballistic" plastic case, which is not reusable, and is not the one shown in the picture.
Save your money, and buy something else.

I purchased this item from Micro Fiber Products on Amazon.com. Item arrived exactly as pictured and described. Laser pointer is very bright and works well even in well lit indoor environments. I hope it has longevity, I will update my review if it should fail for any reason. Seems well built and feels solid in my hands. I would have given this item 5 stars if it had a always on toggle. Item requires you to hold switch on to operate. Big deal. I would purchase this again.

The pointer worked somewhat at first, but would flicker on and off especially if pointed at a downward angle. From what I could tell, the batteries were not held in place firm enough to always make reliable contact with the body of the laser and the bulb/lens portion. A paperclip twisted into a spiral (disc shaped, slightly smaller than the inside of the pointer and placed inside at the bottom) has seemed to keep things from shifting around and has kept it working reliably for now.
Not bad otherwise as it has served all my needs perfectly (nothing fancy...pointing at stuff during presentations/meeting)

The lasers are good quality and the price is good, but they were packed poorly for shipping. No lasers broken, but half of the cases cracked.
