Product is NOT a 20mw laser. Do not be fooled. Spend the little extra and get the 50mw shipped by HDE and get a real laser that isnt 5mw. Cheap Cheap product. Returned by amazon, great return, fast responce and im glad that I went with them rather than anyone else. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS LASER!

just great for the price a friend of mine had a pointer really expensive but this one shows a much stronger green ligth. I recomend this, excelent for the price and pointing the stars, never people.

Got to play with this on a camping trip. It does stretch high into the sky and is visible for about a mile in 1AM darkness in the wilderness. You can keep it on for quite a while too, without brightness fall off, but it's not recommendable since it suggests you don't. For the price, it's unbeatable and the shipping was quick. And the fact that it comes with batteries and a carrying case, that just sweetens the deal.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not stupid and didn't look into it, directly at it, etc. but this thing is so bright that if you shine it on an object not at least 30 feet away, it will burn your retinas pretty bad.
P.S. Don't buy this for cats. It's so much brighter than a regular laser pointer that its really bad for them, not to mention that if you're waving it around, there's a chance you'll catch a reflective surface. This thing is so bright, the walls should be considered reflective. Learn from my mistakes...

i just got this product today and was very happy it worked ike a charm the little one it came with i gave to my child but the monster i didnt it is very strong looks stronger than a 20mw but says it is so BE CAREFUL and yes im talking to you little kids

This laser pointer was suggested to be a class IIIb laser pointer with a minimum of a 20mW output, however it clearly has a government issued label with a class IIIa designation
