Pyle Pro PPHP1598A is a good speaker for the money...far less expensive than the JBL EON or the Behringer and if operated properly, will perform similarly. The trick with the PPHP1598A is to adjust the input level toward the low side and the volume level higher; carefully. The treble and bass adjustments are easy to over-do... in most cases, run them flat and you'll be fine. SIX or EIGHT of these are going to be FAR more effective than 3 or 4 of the JBLs. And you'll still be saving a lot of money.
Running these speakers on stands will significantly reduce their overall bass effectiveness... but they are quite powerful bass punchers nevertheless. If you need that much bass, you're likely going to be running sub-woofers anyway.

Ordered 4 of these. 3 came with the wrong cord. One for a 230v set up not the 110 house current. One had a bashed in grill. One a broken handle.
Amazon was great, replaced speakers and pretty easy to return. Mine were from Amazon LLC. NOT the other places selling them.
Tried first with pyle. They hung up on me 3 times during the process. And, after I did everything they asked to just send parts. No response and no parts. Worthless Service if you need it. As in non existent. They first asked that I send the whole speakers back in. I'd probably still be waiting on them back.
Speakers themselves are good. Medium loud, Not blaring, even nice at standard volumes. I was suprised. Easy set up.
To bad Pyle themselves are horrendous.

I was excited to get my speakers but putting them to use ( karaoke jockey ) they just could not handle the job. It would distort very quickly and just does not have the volume need to have a good jam session

first off beach audio is a great company and amazon makes it so easy. the Pyle pphp1598a's are decent speakers the sound quality is comparable to the JBL eon's and for 1/3 of the price. the wheels to move them about is a nice feature and as far as i know they are only on the Pyle power speakers. these speakers are loud and good for DJ's i know they say 1000w but that's with high total harmonic distortion. they arn't as loud as the eon's or the behringer's but for the price you can't beat it. never the less the difference is slight and not worth paying double for the behringers or triple for the eon's just double up on the Pyles. surprisingly they seem to run cool even when covered by plastic bags to keep rain off of them. over all these are good speakers so far and i've had them for 3 weeks and used them 4 times for elementary school carnivals middle school pep rallies for least 8 hours at a time pushing them to their max the full time.
