I gifted it to my GF. She is happily using it since 2 years now.
no complaints till date. I liked it myself, the screen size was twice as much as Ipod (back then ipod touch didnt hit the market).
I got it for $90 back then, I still believe it was not a deal but a steal.. :-)
Only once it froze with diamond image on screen, Googled and found that once battery gets fully drained and it gets shutdown, next charge will solve the issue... tried and it was resolved.
And yes inbuilt Radio also rocks..
It was my first buy from Amazon, now its my favourite site to shop..
My next buy: Nokia N900.. :-)

I much prefer it to my girl friend's Ipod in everyway. Battery life isn't GREAT but oh well. It's stylish, has a big screen, and the zune software rocks.

i have had the zune 30gb since it was released and it has never given me a reason not to enjoy it. it syncs and plays all of my music and videos instantly. even though its a bit of an older device the screen and picture quality are beautiful and smooth to look at. for me its a great value since i still use it everyday. if i do plan on upgrading to a new mp3 player it will be the zune hd since i have no huge complaints about the zune 30.
only con(reason i gave it 4 stars):
-the "brick" design to it, lol. when i wanna carry a smaller handbag it may take up most of the space because of its width.

I bought this almost 2 years ago and it's still going strong. I bought it for $150 at the time but I think the price is lower now. I go to sleep with it sometimes and end up smashing it but it has held up very well probably b/c I have the speck products case which was 30 but the case hasn't ripped or anything; this does make it look a lot more bulky but at the time, this mp3 player was the best deal for the best storage for my music. I'm glad I got it. I wish the zune software on my computer was a little faster loading but even itunes is a little slow; on the actual zune, it loads FAST. I'm glad I didn't go the ipod route as for the same storage space, etc. it would of cost more. Zune rocks and I'm glad I bought this; I still use it EVERY DAY! Even though it is a little bulky and everyone comments on its size (b/c of the case not the zune which is not that big), I'm going to stick with it; I think it will continue to last for a long time.
