I use the RCA Jet Stream when I go jogging. The big advantage is that it is wireless. I have become addicted to listening to audio books while jogging. It has a lot of features including an FM radio and pedometer not found on most MP3 players. The price was great too. I was replacing a Sony Walkman that gave up the ghost and had a hard time finding a replacement with the features I wanted.

This item arrived yesterday. It is good looking and easy to operate. The wireless earphone is fantastic. Good sound quality.
But the pedometer is a joke: it is too sensitive even I set the sensitivity level as low. I tried 10 steps, and it shows more than 20 steps counted. Even any movement of my arm caused several steps counted.

Overall I am very satisfied with the S2501A. Sound quality is good and the wireless headphones work as advertised. I thought the ear clips wouldn't last long, though. After about ten uses one broke. Now, I'm trying to find a site that I can get replacement ear clips. If anyone knows where I can purchase the replacement ear clips I would be very thankful. :-)

This is a pretty sweet unit. It's nice looking and small, and relatively easy to use if you're even slightly technologically inclined. You'll have to play around with the menu system for a while to get a feel for how it works, but that won't be a problem because you'll probably be fascinated by it for a while.
GOOD THINGS
-Small
-Arm Band and Wrist Band
-Has a playlist option
-Wireless and wired head phones (with attachable ear braces)
-Great sound through wireless headphones
-Full color menus
-Radio (and even records radio with excellent sound quality)
-Is compatible with [...] audio books
-Shows photos
-Shows videos
-Water "resistant" (Sweat won't ruin it, but you can't swim with it)
BAD(but should not be considered reasons to not buy this unit)
-Buttons are a little hard to push
-No voice recording capability (but honestly, for this price and the quality of the unit, who cares)
-Included wired headphones are C-
-Videos and pictures are really small
-Only one custom playlist
-Can't listen to radio through wireless headsphones.
The wireless headphones sound pretty good. The wired headphones are the minimum quality they could get away with. Just buy a decent pair for [...].
If you're like me and just want a decent, cheap, and simple MP3 player for the gym and other random occassions, you can't go wrong with this.

I work over water and get drenched every night. My original mp3 player was eventually destroyed by all the water, no matter how hard I tried to protect it. I know there are waterproof mp3 players out there for swimmers, but I didn't want to spend that much (or to wear a capsule around my head!)so I found this player by RCA. Being wireless, I can wear the earphones and have the player a safe distance from the water. I ordered it and it works great! The reception is incredibly good and the earphones are comfortable. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone!
