This one-size fits all model offers a cost-effective, convenient alternative that fits discreetly in the ear like expensive custom molded models do. The FREQ range covered is between 200 Hz to 8000 Hz, for a mild to moderately severe hearing loss. The processor does all the work inside the amplifier; it is preset to process the sound to the standards of a digital amplifier by increasing the softer sounds of 50 dB and under and decreasing the louder sounds over 80 dB. The toggle switch can be used to reduce the lows, giving more highs. This is effective in noisy areas such as restaurants, group meetings, sporting events. The background noise is subdued and controlled to better hear personal conversations more clearly. The seller was very fast at shipping and product was just as they described. I would do business with this seller again with no hesitation. BUT, the product is not for my Mother. She has a tough time with the controls and the batteries are crap. They hold a charge for about 4 hours, not days,or weeks, but hours! I will spend the extra dollars and get a state of the art hearing aid and use this one for emergencies only. Don't spend the $[...]. If it sounds to good to be true............then it probably is!!!!

Unfortunately this product was no good for me! I must have been in the small percentage of people that the aid would not fit into the ear off properly, according to there advertisement that is! But this I am only guessing at. Why you may ask do I think this, because when it was inserted in my ear all the Bl@*dy thing would do was whistle, even on the lowest setting... Sorry MaxiSound not impressed at all. Would have given it No stars, but Amazon would not let me!!!!!

Out of all my dealing with Amazon this company and individual is the best seller I have evry delt with. Justin Reinholz (Sonic Technology Products) went out of his way to make sure I was compfortable eith the hearing aids. He even had suggestions to help as well. If you are looking for a set of hearing aids at an affordable price and excellent support then I would recommend you purchase these.

I couldn't believe how well this digital hearing aid worked for my mother. I went to the audiologist and they were trying to sell us $3,000.00 hearing aids. After the sticker shock was over, I did my research on the internet and found this factory close out. I was nervous about the 14 day guarantee, but after one week my mother was hearing things she hadn't heard in years and we didn't have to go into debt to take care of her hearing loss.
I would recommend this hearing aid to anyone as well as let them know how over priced "fitted" hearing aid are at the audiologist.

I Ordered this product for my mom for xmas and she didnt like the feeling in her ear so she sent it back for a refund .I have requested to inform me when the refund was done, but have not yet heard anything.Its almost 3 weeks since it was sent back now.
