After six months of using this printer I am still nothing but thrilled with this printer. I have added 3 more computers to my household since I got this printer, each was so simple to setup. On top of that with Lexmarks printer recycle program, black ink cartridges cost me 12.00, and color is 16.00, cannot beat that. On top of the excellent ink prices, It is nice to know this came with a 3 year warranty. Print quality is excellent as well! For the price guys you cannot go wrong.

Running on HP G60-120 laptop with Win 7. Communicates wirelessly without issues except that 1] that it continually jams or doesn't feed the paper and 2] when it does print wirelessly, it literally takes 15 minutes to print a single page of simple text from a Word file. Same problem with printing from any any other sort of file. Scans a document just fine and in a fairly timely manner so long as you are not in a hurry. Lexmark tech support was NO help and un-impressive overall. I have two laptops of same kind [one is my wife's] so I set it up with her unit which still has Vista, and had the identical problems so it isn't the OS probably. Pretty much a waste of money and would be suitable as a small boat anchor if not so flimsy. Switched back [hardwired] to my old HP Office Jet printer.

It seems I have made a huge mistake in buying another Lexmark printer.
I am a senior on a very low income so I refill cartridges so I am able
to print. That has come to an end using your X4650 printer the printer
has a chip in the print cartridge that stops you from refilling. I will never
buy a Lexmark product again and plan to expose this cheap tactic to all
my friends. I thought I got a good deal when I bought this printer Lemark
screwed me big time. I have a legel right to put any cartridge in
my machine I wish to as long as it works. This is the lowest thing I
have ever seen a large company do. Using refilled cartriges has never
effected any printer I have owned. I am selling this printer on Craigs list
and am buying a printer that I can reset the ink level

Print quality is very poor and it eats ink. Currently ink is out of stock in stores and online. This is unacceptable for a NEW MODEL printer, probably due to the fact that you run out of ink very fast.

This printer sucks. I have tried to get the wireless printer to work with my PC and my brothers Mac. It won't connect to my computers or network, and it won't scan directly to my hard drive, so I have to use a memory card, which sucks because as I found out yesterday, you have to check your scans after every few pictures because it likes to say it is saving and then not save. Also the auto-size on the scan doesn't work.
However, the printer works by hard wire. I haven't tried to print a picture yet, and quite frankly I'm a little scared. I'm going to take this thing back.
