The unit works with Lexar 300x UDMA cards. If not, call customer support and they will overnight the unit back to you with the UDMA support enabled. They were very responsive and fast; they even called me back! I give customer support an A+.
You have to remember what this is -- a low cost, no viewer, high capacity backup. It does that, and not much else. The unit does not turn itself off unless there is 100% no error copy. If there is an error, it doesn't turn off. Transfer rate for 133x cards and above seem to be around 11 minutes for 4Gb. It is faster transferring to the computer.
I got this as a second backup for a trip to the Middle East, and I think it should serve very well for that purpose. I will update the review when I get back.

I thought it would be the perfect storage solution for professional photographers on the go. But yet, I found out that it doesn't work with LEXAR Professional Compact Flash cards that are being used by pro photographer in most DSLRs. Sorry, but I didn't buy a 320Gb storage solution for my pocket camera.
Wolverine tech support is working on this problem but it doesn't seems to be a software update, you will probably need to return your unit in the better scenario. (I'm not sure how else it would be fixed).
The interface is poor, (remind me looking at ms-dos from 20 years ago), it displayed a short Error message and turn off.
The Flash Card slot is not deep enough, the pins are too close to the edge and the space is too wide, so the pins are just begging to brake/bend if you are not carful inserting your card (not covered by the warranty).
The File managment is poor, you can't configure anything, not even naming the folders as dates it just add CF00001, CF00002, SD00001 etc.
It also have 2 usb that you'll need to connect to your computer and it says 'Do not use USB ports from hubs, docking stations or Front usb'. Yeah right, let me crawl under the table to get to the back of my computer to find 2 free usb ports connected directly to the motherboard.
Worst off all, you can't browse or check if the card was downloaded successfully until you connect it to a computer. I thought that it copied my cards and I almost erased two 8gb cards full of photos before I found out that it didn't copy anything. That's insane, you put a card in, you turn you head a second, the screen goes black and you erase your card thinking you have a backup just to come back home and find that you missed a tiny error message .
I don't trust this thing for a second with my images. total waste of time.
This product it a joke, I am sending back to Amazon, I was so excited to get it, I hope that i didn't trash the box.
