I installed this drive and put a read-only database on it thinking that by not writing to it, it would extend it's life. I was very disappointed when it failed after only 2 months. It is past it's return policy period. I do not recommend this drive.

USB connection is fast. So far, everything works as it should...no complaints. A bit expensive for the amount of storage you get.

It might be just a case of incompatibility with my motherboard's SATA interface. (which I doubt it, as my motherboard is somewhat decent, the high end of gigabyte's offerings for Intel P45 popular chipset EP45-DQ6).
But in any case, I thought it might be helpful to point out that it does't work well over SATA (lots of corrupted files) when running under Windows 7 64bit (haven't tried it under other OSs)
However, it works very well via its handy built-in USB interface.

I really can't believe how much this has sped up my Intel ULV processor. I feel like I'm young again! Seriously, my Acer 11.6" netbook is as fast as my Dell m1330 now. I had no idea before I popped this baby in how much an HDD's slow read/write speeds could impair a CPU's performance. Clearly, mechanical hard drives are soon to be a relic of history. 32 GB is relatively small, but not as small as I was afraid it would be. I have my operating system loaded up, as well as MS Office, various Adobe programs, security software and few other light programs, as well as all my files for work going back 10 years -- and yet I still have almost 17 GBs remaining. Being in my right mind I would never attempt to collect and view digital movies on, or run a dozen games from, my netbook hard drive, so 17 GB left should be just fine. Incidentally, I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise.
UPDATE:
I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit, and I've had no problems at all. ... I still can't believe I'm running an Atom processor without feeling things are too slow for me. In short, I am still VERY happy.

This drive works great. I have owned it for a month and have only used it as an external drive. It is going into my HTPC next month when I upgrade to Win7 at home. This is the best price I've seen on an SSD this size. A recommended purchase!
