So far we are very pleased! It's a nice little TV. I was worried about it fitting under my kitchen cabinet which only has 15" to lend to a TV underneath. Well with the small cable box turned sideways, the TV fits perfectly! It has a great picture! We need to get used to the sound- because we have had our old dinosaur TV for so long- which sounds a bit different. We are waiting for an infrared adapter (ordered)to add to the cable box, so we can place the box behind the TV. My 21 year old daughter thinks the TV "looks sexy"...anyway- for all of us it's a great new addition!

I didn't buy this online. But that's because I like to see the TV first. However, this TV is 20 dollars cheaper on line so for those of you not sure about this TV, you can buy with confidence. Color is great. Sound is OK for the size of this TV. VERY easy to set up. I have this TV in my home office. It would be great in any small room. Side by side with other televisions, I found this one to be better or as good as more expensive models. Has less of a footprint than my computer monitor.
Like I said, if you are comfortable buying televisions on line, this is a great choice.

After reading other reviews and seeing some of the other products , I purchased this at a real good savings and couldn't be happier. Saves a lot of space, has tremendous picture quality. Two things I am not crazy about are the glossy frame which most other units have also and I have not been able to locate a headphone jack.

Knowing nothing about flat screen TV's, I bought this based on price and product reviews. I am using it with a rabbit ears antenna in my office and therefore have limited knowledge of the full capabilities. However, for my purposes, it works great. I am not able to pick up one (major) local channel and not sure if that is because the signal from the station is weak or a TV issue. I have contacted the station to find out if they know what this is about. Amazon service was efficient and fast. I am very happy with this purchase.

Best 19" Low-Cost Choice I Found by Dan Zeitlin (USA)  4 Stars

We needed a small LCD TV for a bedroom/home office. After some online research we ordered an AOC L19W89V 19" LCD HDTV. It was awful The sound quality was exceptionally tinny and the picture was soft. No amount of adjustment improved either. The AOC was returned immediately. Having been once burned, we did some more research and selected the Toshiba 19AV600U. It's a stark contrast to the AOC. The sound, both in volume and quality, is remarkably good. The picture looks also very good after some minor tweaks to suit our tastes. The stand comes already attached to the TV right out of the box, and tilts from zero to 90 degrees upwards. FWIW, our Motorola FIOS remote control found the right code for the TV on the second or third try. Adjustment are intuitive using the provided remote (batteries included) or the side buttons on the TV. I believe the 19AV600U is an excellent overall choice for this size TV at a reasonable cost.
