Note: Based on the current ATSC standards, mobile reception of digital stations are practically impossible especially when the TV is moving or on a moving surface or vehicle. Do a full scan of channels by pressing “Auto” on the remote or in the Menu settings Make sure the input selection is set to TV instead of AV Position your TV to a better location with the external antenna connected and do a channel rescan. No sound? Increase the volume. Press MUTE on the remote control to turn off mute. Unplug the headphones. Poor picture? Adjust the telescoping antenna. Move to a window (if inside a building structure). Use an external antenna (The one provided or regular antenna.) Remote control doesn’t work? Remove any obstacles between the remote and the TV. Replace the battery in the remote control.

Don't buy Axion 9" TV by J. Simmons (Los Angeles, CA) 1 Stars
November 20, 2009
I purchased one of these units, but when set to scan for channels, it didn't find any. I even tried connecting cable directly to it. i tried the various cable band settings, no luck. I sent it back. I ordered another one. it performed exactly like the first. No working RF input. I even tried outside where I had a line of sight view of the local TV transmitter. Here's the worst part, customer service. It is non-existent. I sent an email on a Friday night, it wasn't responded to until the following Wednesday. All is said was, "Call us." It didn't include a number. Fortunately, the number is in the operator's guide. I actually began calling on Tuesday. I left four messages for Reginald. His name is on the customer service outgoing message. He never called me back. I even mentioned that if didn't hear from him today, that I would be forced to leave a negative review on Amazon.com. I guess he doesn't care. Companies who treat customers this way should not be allowed to stay in business. I see that other reviewers have complained about not being able to turn the unit off. Well I guess I will never know if that is a problem because I have now sent the second unit back.

Good New/Bad News -- mostly bad news. by C. Hayman (Maryland) 2 Stars
November 09, 2009
Good news/bad news: the picture quality is terrific, but I cannot POWER OFF! I called the company and was told to keep the power button down for 8 seconds -- unfortunately it powers off momentarily and then immediately powers back on. The only way to turn it off is to remove the plug from the wall (& even then if there is any battery juice it stays on until the battery runs out). Previously I had read another review here about that happening, but thought it was probably just an odd occurrence, but when it happened to me I assumed that this is probably happening on a much more frequent basis. Good news: I live in the boonies and the antenna brought in all our local stations very, very well. The remote does not have a power/on/off switch. I don't know why. It does not recognize the 75 ohm signal (through the wall) from my satellite -- I called the company and was told it would not recognize the satellite signal through the wall outlet connected to the rf input -- (it has to be connected directly to the satellite box w/rca cables). So if you want it in your kitchen, forget it, unless you have the satellite box in the kitchen, too. The sound is tinny, but I could live with the unit if everything else worked. My advice is not to buy this unit as its performance is unpredictable with that power button, and, of course don't buy it if you have satellite reception. It's like a half-baked cake -- too bad they didn't do it right.

QUESTION ANSWERED by George B. (Brighton, MI USA) 3 Stars
November 04, 2009
The reason I gave it one star was because there was no indication that it has a tuner good for Cable TV. Now that I got the answer I will order it, and then I will come back and review it then. Until then I'll give it a "middle ground" three star, since the idiotic system won't let me give it NO star ;-) Can I plug this TV to my cable system?? Or its tuner is only for over the air signal. I wish they add a statement clarifying it! Thank you,

Power on quit working after about a month by Q. (Huntsville, Al USA) 1 Stars
October 31, 2009
The power on quit working after about a month. The unit cannot power itself off. It continues to turn itself back on continuously and I cannot push the off button to turn it off. I thought it was very nice upuntill this started happening. I will not buy an axion ever again.

Good quality TV by P. Schoolik (Burlington, NJ) 4 Stars
October 23, 2009
The picture is very good, and the sound is also. The reception is good, but dislike the interferences that accrue (car passing by or sitting running next to my vehicle). I found out the antenna gives good reception. Actually went out and bought another antenna (which was suppose to be one of the best) and the antenna that came with this product was better. The product case is very slippery, should have some type of handle to carry it (easily can slip out of your hands when caring it around).
