Doesn't Match the Movie but GREAT CD by C. Marmon-Halm (Washington, DC) 4 Stars

If you're expecting the songs from this soundtrack to fit cohesively with the movie, you will be confused but not necessarily disappointed. If you're able to listen to the soundtrack as an independent album and just appreciate the music...you will enjoy it much more. I love Paramore's "Decode" but after listening to the lyrics, I realize that this song must have been written after reading New Moon. I was confused by this song's inclusion in Twilight but after reading New Moon, it makes so much more sense. Of course I love Muse and I don't know that this was the best song to showcase their amazing talent but it did fit well enough in the family softball scene. Iron and Wine's Flightless Bird American Mouth was also a beautiful song to end the movie with. It was lovely watching Edward and Bella dance to this in the last scene. I also really liked Blue Foundation's Eyes on Fire...great great song. All and all the songs on this CD are pretty great but the album definitely lacks cohesion.

What can I say? As a fan of the books & movies, the soundtrack(s) are a wonderful addition to any collection. The "score" to Twilight is also amazing!

Great Soundtrack! by A. Lee (Lafayette, IN USA) 4 Stars

I love the "Twilight" soundtrack. Of course, it includes the best songs from the movie, but also works really well as a stand-alone album. The best tracks on the album, in my opinion, are "Supermassive black hole" by Muse, "Spotlight" by Mutemath, "Decode" by Paramore, and "Tremble for my beloved" by Collective Soul. These are all up-tempo and rock. I think the songs fit the movie well, especially their respective scenes. My only requests for this album are to have Rob Pattinson's other song "Let me sign" included, especially since it was featured very prominently at the climax of the movie; and I would have liked to have "Clair de lune" by Debussy as it is the only piece of music ever actually named in the Twilight novel as well as in the movie. The only other change I would make would be to move "Spotlight" to the lead off track since it has a built in introduction in the music and would have fit better at the beginning of the album instead of in the middle. All in all, I love this soundtrack and listen to it repeatedly.

This is a great soundtrack. All the songs are perfect for the movie and for Bella and Edward. Even my 9 year old daughter loves to listen to it. She asks for the "baseball song", song #1 on the soundtrack, everytime she gets into the car. This is a great buy and worth every dollar.

I personally loved this soundtrack! Exactly what I imagined Bella and Edward's songs would sound like. Even my 4yr old son loves listening to it in the car!
