Imperative Resource For Clean Air Seeker by Arna Vodenos 5 Stars
May 31, 2009
As a member of the wellness community, I find that Donna Barnett's Chasing Clean Air is an imperative resource for my work and the many clients that I see. Personally, Donna's blog educated me that I live within 2 miles of the worst nuclear accident in America's history and it's still not cleaned up. This is not the well-publicized nuclear disaster, Three-Mile Island. Donna's blog has offered me an understanding of cleaner area options, as well as given me a better perspective as to what to look for and questions to ask when deciding where I may move my family next in order to optimize our health.

Here's to all the benefits of your research, diligence and pleasantly positive energy. Rose

Clean Air Getaways & Practical Advice for Sensitive Breathers by Donna Barnett (Los Angeles) 5 Stars
May 23, 2009
Welcome! I'm the author of Chasing Clean Air and I'd like to invite you to join my clean air search! Chasing Clean Air highlights my journey out of Los Angeles and into the world, chasing clean air, beauty, and a sustainable life! Clean air getaways and practical advice for sensitive breathers are regularly featured, along with a location's air quality, altitude, and things to do. I include original photography and descriptive details. I enjoy adventure, so don't be surprised if we're canoeing, hiking, or climbing up a glacier despite my fear of heights. Who knows what new adventures may unfold this year. Ziplining? Done. Kayaking in killer whale territory. Okay. Unlike regular travel web sites, I include toxic truths when I find them on the road, I stay abreast of current air pollution health impact studies, and I rate air quality making suggestions for those currently living in or near smog. The 10th annual American Lung Association State of the Air report released April 29, 2009 found that six out of ten Americans, that's 186.1 million people, live in areas where air pollution endangers lives. California has some of the worst air in the nation with Los Angeles and Riverside Counties getting the worst report cards of them all. But I'm here to tell you clean air exists. I'm writing today from clean air Victoria, BC where the air goes down easy and you can see the whites of peoples eyes. John Muir eloquently said, "I know our bodies were made to thrive only in pure air, and the scenes in which pure air is found."
