| For what it was it was fine... by J. Irvine (Cape Cod) 3 Stars June 06, 2009 I was looking for videos to model and inspire one to aspire to the life of the mind in mathematics. This video was a sweet interview about the man and his Socratic - or RL Moore - style of teaching. There was little or no discussion of math ideas at all. I guess I should have read the description more closely as that is exactly how Amazon describes the video. Not what I thought it would be - a lively discussion of math ideas and how one chooses to pursue math. So for what it was, a gentle, almost reverential interview, it was fine.
