I bought this not really knowing who Soft Cell was so. . . I guess it's just not for me. Sound and video are a good quality.

Wonderful energy by PSM/Bokor (United States) 5 Stars

Soft Cell has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. My taste in music leans strongly towards hard rock and old school punk, but Soft Cell has always had a place in my collection of CD's.I was absolutely blown away by this DVD. I have a reasonably large collection of live performances on DVD, and this is one of the best. The energy is phenomenal. The sound quality is first rate.Soft Cell has become more than just a guilty pleasure for me; now, I truly respect them as a band and as performers.Great stuff!!

What a great comeback!! by Alfredo R. Hernandez Pineda (Mexico City) 5 Stars
June 27, 2003
This is such an extraordinary comeback! Not only because of the new songs like "The Last Chance", or "Monoculture", but because this great performance by Marc and David on this kind of "re-union tour" and this DVD captures the best moments of an astonishing concert in Milan. Is good to know that Dave Ball is a great keyboard player and I was kind of surprised seeing that he actually "plays" all the songs, and not everything is programmed on the keyboard. It's a little odd seeing Marc "rockin" and playing guitar, very different from any other Marc solo show. So it is all like if time just didnt passed throuhg them ( well, slightly ). Great songs selection, and for those who were not very familiar to the "Art of Falling apart" or "Last night in Sodom" albums its a great opportunity to listen to the great "Martin" or "The best way to kill" and of course, the "grand finale" that includes "Tainted love/where did our love go?" and "Say Hello wave goodbye".Now I rate it 5 stars, because it has a good picture quality, good sound, and because of a good camera direction and edition. So, don't miss it, because who knows when this guys would come back? maybe in another 20 years!!!

For those of you who wish you could have seen Soft Cell live...,now you can! This DVD is awesome with all Soft Cell's great hits and latest new tracks! DVD includes a very cool interview. The DVD takes you back in SOFT CELL time (live). this DVD is a MUST for any Soft Cell fan!Marc's vocals start out weak on the first track but then works his way into outstanding performance and sound!I totally enjoyed this dvd all the way through.

a second chance to catch a soft cell show! by spooky (california) 3 Stars

i was one of the lucky few to see soft cell on their little so called u.s. tour. they originally scheduled 11 shows, but only played 5 shows due to bad ticket sales, management, fill in the blank, etc... in any case their los angels show was great. the perfomance on this dvd is good although not as good as the show i saw in los angeles. this dvd also contains a 20 minute interview with marc and dave discussing soft cell beginings. the audio sounds fine, although i'm sure someone will find something to complain about. there are very good close-ups on marc and dave(and some good close synth shots as well). i'd rate this dvd 3 1/2 stars. i'm glad i bought this dvd and have it in my collection.
