CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 3.5 based on 2 reviews)
| Powerful Ideas outpower low budget in this future by Malcolm Genesis (Oakville, Ont, Canada) 4 Stars December 12, 2000 This is a Roger Corman Phillip Jackson Daniel Dor picture. They've done some great ones and this definitely isn't their best- yet some bits really stand out, the Man and Wife fight between protagonists Jeff Wincott and Maria Ford over what to do about a potential cure to save dying humanity is both hilarious and scary at the same time. In that sense "Future Fear" makes "War of the Roses" look like a picknick. Stacy Keach has a cool cameo as a profetic genocidal military man.You have to struggle a bit to stay withy the story throught the first bit, but if you do it becomes haunting and scary by the end. You'll actually talk about this one , what it all meant etc if you watch it with anyone.
| | Weak special effects. However original story and good cast. 3 Stars February 22, 1999 Although this is definately a b-movie it was interesting to see Jeff Wincotte and Stacy Keach work together. I was very impressed with the actor who plays Soldier #2. Joseph Clark. I have seen this guy in other action films and on television. Although he had a small role, I felt his performance stood out among Jeff Wincotte's and Stacy Keach.

| Deathsport Starring: David Carradine, Claudia Jennings, Richard Lynch, William Smithers, Will Walker Directed By: Roger Corman, Nicholas Niciphor, Allan Arkush
After the success of the wicked little sci-fi satire Death Race 2000, producer Roger Corman quickly recast David Carradine, this time as a rebel warrior in the year 3000 paired with B-movie vixen Claudia Jennings. The resulting mix of barbarians and bikers lacks the inspired humor and satirical twist of its inspiration, but it works just fine as a drive-in action picture about gladiators on motorcycles and bug-eyed mutant cannibals in second-rate makeup. Carradine gets to go all kung-fu...
