CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 2 reviews)
| Germs Are Infectious by Robert S. Robbins (Williamsport, PA USA) 5 Stars December 07, 2005 This is a two DVD set but all the material could have fit on one DVD. DVD 1 features an infamous live concert performance at The Whiskey 1979. This is the concert where Pat kicked a bouncer in the head and had to sneak out to avoid being beaten up. DVD 1 also features some audio tracks without any video whatsoever.
DVD 2 features a long reminiscence by Don Bolles. It must have been filmed after he wrote the book "Lexicon Devil" because he holds up the book to show the photos that relate to his story. Like they couldn't just intercut the photos. He shows off his record collection which is endearingly fan-like. DVD 2 also has a slide show of photos from the book.
Seeing Darby Crash sing makes you realize why people called The Germs a joke. He sings like a drunken frat boy! Just dreadful.

| MIA: The Complete Anthology by The Germs
Formed in 1977, these angry, snotty-boy punks came on like an L.A. version of the Sex Pistols: sneering, shouting, and provoking violence wherever they performed. Leader Darby Crash was genuinely threatening as he railed against the society that had spawned him. Unfortunately, Crash's dark and destructive side would eventually consume him. A mere three years after the band's first gig--and in fitting tribute to his hero and role model, Sid Vicious--Crash died of a drug overdose. This anthology...
