EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description In todays religiously diverse and relativistic culture, labeling a group a cult may seem extreme to many people, not to mention rude. Even people who believe in absolute Truth and further believe that Jesus is the only way to eternal life can get confused about just what constitutes real Christianity. Just why are Baptists properly considered Christians, but Mormons are not? Or why is the Jehovahs Witness religion classified as an anti-Christian cult while Presbyterians or Wesleyans or Pentecostals are simply seen as denominations within the Christian faith? With the explosion of different sects that claim to honor and follow Jesus, how does one differentiate between true Biblical Christianity and an aberrant religious movement? Just what are the marks of a cult? Join us for a journey into the heart of Biblical revelation and the constant struggle of truth against lies, the apostolic faith against the doctrines of demons. This new documentary does more than simply point fingers. It explains in great detail the absolute essentials of the Faith and just how and why Christians can properly and necessarily refer to certain sects as cults. Not only a tool for recognizing and understanding false teaching and for reaching people held captive to it The Marks of a Cult is also a powerful apologetic on the need for Christians to become more rooted in the Biblical historic faith, with its creeds and confessions, and to be better prepared to give a defense to any one who calls you to account for the hope that is in you. (1 Peter 3:15) Researched and co-authored by Jerry Johnson, President of The Apologetics Group, Inc. this documentary also features Dr. James R. White, Dr. E. Calvin Beisner, Dr. R. Fowler White, James Walker and many more. |

| Provocative! by Laura K. Birkofer (Murfreesboro USA) 5 Stars November 13, 2007 I saw a segment of this on C-SPAN and had to check it out. Forget the watered down, politically correct pablum that you were spoon-fed in the public school system. This debate will really make you think about the real issues that gave rise to the war -- issues that are still very much with us today. Highly recommended.
| | Amen and pass the ammunition! by Stratiotes Doxha Theon (Richmond, Missouri) 5 Stars October 12, 2006 I happened to catch the end of this debate when it first ran on C-Span I believe it was. I was so impressed, I ran out and bought a copy as soon as I could find it. It has been one of the few debates I could enjoy watching more than once. Both men are Presbyterian ministers and amateur historians but never underestimate the ability of amateurs to provide a professional and thoughtful response. Of course, I have an opinion about who won the debate but you will have to watch and decide on your own who won. It is a fascinating debate with a depth that seems rare these days. It is certain to please the historiphile.
| | READY - AIM - FIRE!!! by G. Johnson (Virginia) 5 Stars March 22, 2006 The Great Civil War Debate was truly that "great." Once it started I was hooked. Both men, Marshall (blue) and Wilkins (gray), did a superb job of defending their sides and positions. The indepth historical analysis and the point/counter point will keep you on the edge of your seat. No scripts, no advantage given to either side, just the hard facts. This production can be used in classrooms or personal enjoyment. From the novice to the Civil War buff. I highley recommend it.

| Kingdom of the Cults-Jehovah's Witnesses
Is it possible to believe a Church that has prophesied the end of the world incorrectly seven times? If you are a Jehovah's Witness and if you work hard enough for the organization is it remotely possible that you will be one of the 144,000 who go to Heaven or will you be one of the many to be annihilated? Is Hell just a superstitious myth? Is Jesus really the archangel Michael? These are just some of the perplexing problems facing today's Jehovah's Witnesses around the world. Most...
