| The Human Genome project by Shalom Freedman (Jerusalem,Israel) 5 Stars December 28, 2007 Frances Collins who headed the public effort at decoding the human genome speaks to Charlie Rose about the meaning and implication of the project. He speaks about the potential medical benefits which will come from being able to make a genetic portrait of the individual. He also cautions against misuses of this work- He speaks out against Cloning and against various Enhancement projections which would alter the human germline- Collins sees the wonders of science as revelation - as God's creation. He is articulate, modest and considers fully the social implications of the work he is doing.
He seems generous and appreciative of his assistants and co- workers.
An excellent program.
