Talk about a pleasant surprise.
I had previously purchased coconut oil from a chinese supermarket nearby. It tasted horrible and also had a rancid smell to it. I poured 1 tbsp in my smoothie and it was ruined. I ordered Nutiva and patiently awaited it's arrival.
I opened the jar to the nice fresh mild sweet fragrance of coconuts. I resided in the caribbean for many years so I KNOW what coconut oil and coconuts should smell like.
I will NEVER look elsewhere to purchase my coconut oil. Nutiva is my final destination.
I have found my paradise... the oil tastes clean ( if you know what I mean). It has a mild taste of coconut. wow!!! I really enjoyed my smoothie today. YUM!!!

I'm surprised with all those good reviews.
I've been using internally and topically for long time coconut oil
and I'm sure something is wrong with this one.
Even after eating 1 teaspoon I have terrible nausea
also when I put on my skin I got allergic reaction.
Never got something like this with different brand coconut oil from wholefood stores.
Is Nutivia oil really organic? I seriously doubt...
Plus transparent and plastic jar is very bad idea.

I love this product. I use it to cook (it is very stable at high temps) and put it in smoothies. Sometimes i even eat it by the spoonful. The only thing im not thrilled about is the plastic container it comes in-would prefer glass.
