| disappointing by Carrie LaGree (Albany, NY) 3 Stars November 23, 2009 If you like you're coffee bold and dark, like I do, then you won't be thrilled with this flavor. It's a very mellow coffee, even when brewed for a short cup. Also, the pumpkin flavor tastes rather artificial and overly sweet. I don't mind it when I mix it with another bolder flavor, but it's a big disappointment. I'm back to adding a splash of pumpkin pie seasoning to my good, dark coffee instead!
| | Not the pumpkin flavor I expected by WDWlovr (NJ) 3 Stars November 14, 2009 I do not detect the pumpkin flavor I have come to expect with other pumpkin flavored coffees I buy. However, I have never before purchased pumpkin flavor k-cups - not sure if this is the reason, or if Timothy's is just "off." I do love other k-cups, but not these. To me, there is a vague spice flavor, but it is bitter. Not pumpkin flavor, IMO.
I am going to try Gloria Jean's and see if those are better. I do love Timothy's Cinnamon Pastry though!
| | perfectly pumpkin by Daniel J. Timmermeyer (Houston, TX) 5 Stars November 10, 2009 Overall, I think this pumpkin coffee is excellent. I've only tried this one and Green Mountain pumpkin spice. Timothy's feels a lot smoother. Green Mountain's version tastes like someone was cleaning out their spice rack and dumped it into the coffee. I will definitely buy the Timothy's pumpkin again (and again).
| | timothy's pumpkin k-cups by D. diaz (fullerton,ca) 3 Stars November 06, 2009 I love pumpkin coffee and was disappointed with the flavor. It barley tasted of pumpkin. The Timothy Kahlua is DELICIOUS. Thus, I would have hoped for and expected a more robust and richer flavor. If you really like pumpkin coffee, I'd recommend NOT purchasing the k-cup. I should have "listened" to the research I'd done
| | Run away, run away! by r10kindsofpeople (Allentown, PA USA) 1 Stars October 26, 2009 I generally like Timothy's K-cups coffees, but this was a big disappointment.
Smell is okay, but not great. Initial taste is not pleasant, and there's a heavy artificial cinnamon aftertaste.
I didn't expect it to become a new favorite, I just wanted to try something different for the holidays. Now I'm wondering how I'm going to get rid of 23 more doses of the stuff.
