Advil is just definitely the best there is in my book when it comes to relieving pain. Since it reduces swelling, the pain goes away a whole lot faster than it does with Tylenol. I took 2 maximum strength Tylenol the other night and it did absolutely NOTHING for the pain and had to turn around and grab the Advil when I returned home. If you have monthly female-related pain, take these when you have the first sign of it and it will stop it before it starts. Great stuff for that and for headaches, especially if you're prone to sinus headaches like we are. Two of these along with two pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) will knock the pain and get rid of the sinus pain and pressure within a very short period of time.
In my book, whether it's back pain, body aches, fever, swelling, you name it, Advil does the job. Great stuff, highly recommend!

A few months ago I encountered severe back pain from sitting in a preschooler's chair during a meeting at school for two hours.
Opening up a bottle of Advil Advanced Medicine for Pain is simple compared to other products on the market. The bottle is shaped smaller and rounder than similar products, which makes it easy to distinguish in your medicine cabinet. The cap is a twist and turn with two fingers to grasp the side indents and twist off completely. There will be foil liner to remove in order to obtain a tablet or two.
The one con for me is that you need to take with food, so pain has to wait awhile while consuming food to avoid stomache upset on top of pain.
Advil Advanced Medicine for Pain is suited for children twelve years of age and older. You should never take more than directed with six being the maximum in any twenty-four hour period. One tablet for four to six hours, and if needed you can take two. Since the pain resulted from a Friday morning meeting I spent the weekend in pain and started out with one tablet, and another one taken in about four hours. I wanted to make sure the pain would stay idle and was able to sleep soundly each night.
Last week I experienced a bad headache and quickly turned to the Advil Advanced Medicine for Pain. Personally with toothaches and cold symptoms I would not use this and would resort to other measures. I felt this worked so well with intense pain that I prefer to keep it on hand for just that specific reason.
I would not hesitate to take a tablet of Advil Advanced Medicine for Pain the next time a headache or backache arrives. The tablets are easy to swallow and work quickly and sufficiently on the targeted areas.

I have more than one kind of headache - sometimes behind the eyes, sometimes just the forehead, sometimes the base of my skull, and then the all-over general throbbing brain headache. Some headaches call for Advil. Everyone is different, but when I feel a certain type of headache coming on, I know it's time to reach for Advil.
