I used to get blisters inside my mouth, as well as cold symptoms pretty frequently. A nurse told me about this, and i've been taking it ever since. I have not gotten ONE sore inside my mouth, and i can't tell you the last time i've been sick. It's amazing. Please don't confuse it with regular Lysine that you can buy anywhere. Super Lysine+ is only found in specialty health food stores, or online. If for some reason i stop taking it, and if i happen to feel a fever blister coming out, or a runny nose, then i'll pop a few of these, and all of my symptoms disappear. It's good to take 3 a day (like directed) in order to build up your immune system. I have not had ANY side effects from this medicine. Only good results. My medicine cabinet will never be without a bottle of Super Lysine+. I even keep a bottle at my desk at work. Quantum Health is the only name brand of this medicine i have tried, and i'm sticking to it.

I've counted on this product (in ointment form)for years. It wards off a cold sore, if you start putting it on as soon as you feel the first warning signs (burning, itching).
If you miss that stage, and the cold sore emerges, then applying Lip Clear Lysine Plus Ointment helps shorten the duration of the cold sore.
I take lysine tablets also which seem to be helpful.
I'm glad to see this new version includes sunscreen.
